Sarah Smith is bringing her own brand of experience and professionalism to the Ashburton branch, as its new Mid Canterbury Manager.

Timaru born Sarah “gets” all aspects of the diverse, picturesque and hardworking Mid Canterbury region. Having grown up on a sheep and beef farm in Fairlie for 17 years, she deeply understands the rural lifeblood of the South Island. She consolidated her real estate career in Central Otago, with 12 enjoyable years helping hundreds of clients in the Maniototo Area to meet their dreams and goals. When Sarah and her husband moved to Ashburton two years ago, it was their great pleasure to take on and enhance a lifestyle block on Ashburton’s outskirts. Of her three adult children, two still live and work in the area.

But more than understanding the land, real estate is about understanding people. Before her 12-year real estate career, Sarah’s background was in Health and Social Services. This means that she brings a genuine, empathetic manner to supporting people from all walks of life, especially as they make major decisions and go through lifestyle change.

Sarah will be applying her experience, passion for real estate and hard-working nature to upholding the reputation for quality that Bayleys already holds in the Mid Canterbury region and continuing to grow the brand.
